Live streaming of the 2010 IPF/NAPF/FESUPO Pan-American Bench Press Championships will take place in Road Town, Tortola, and British Virgin Islands on October 7– 9, 2010.Seven [7] IPF Member Federations will take part in the championship: Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, USA and the US Virgin Islands.

The featured lifters are: Women — Irani Barbosa Rodrigues and Nilceia Da Silva [Brazil] and Rebekah Lair [USA]. Men – Eric Oishi and Edmur Pessoa [Brazil]; The Twin Towers – Cliff Williams and Shevon Reef [British Virgin Islands]; Orlando Blas, Harold Milan and Lazlo Nieves [Puerto Rico] and Demetrius Maoury; Clint Poore, Chris Calvano, Shaun Bales, and Big Jon Bogart from the USA. Bogart expects to set yet the IPF World Record at 125+kg and be the first lifter in the IPF to go 365kg in the Bench Press.

NAPF North American Championships

Dave Ricks(Master), Wade Hooper (Open) and Danna Snow(Master Woman)win Best Lifters at the NAPFs.

The Mens Team took home Silver, tying with Puerto Rico for #1, but losing on the tie breaker. The Women’s Team takes Gold!
